A magisterial inquiry has been constituted by the state government to look into the raid by personnel of the 33 bn BSF on a hostel of the Female Health Workers' Training School located near Churachandpur district hospital on the night of November 7 last, according to official sources.
It may be recalled that most of the students of the health workers training school have fled their hostel in panic following the raid conducted on the quarters where only female students were residing on Wednesday evening between 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
The BSF personnel, who reportedly charged some of the inmates with having connections to an underground outfit, found nothing during the raid.
In the meantime, in connection with the incident, a meeting was organized today at the office of the DC, Churachandpur, PK Singh, attended by the state health director, and other officials of the state health services.
During the meeting, it was announced that a magisterial inquiry headed by the DC, Churachandpur would be conducted into the incident.
The training school has also been closed for a week in this regard.
On the other hand, the DC, Churachandpur has clarified that there was no firing by the BSF personnel who raided the hostel.
